Culture Lab: Truth

Culture Lab: Truth is an interactive, mixed-media art installation and performance piece created by a group of four artists, Brendan Eder, Andrea Hodos, Betsy Medvedovsky and Alexx Shilling, working in wide-ranging disciplines, including dance, spoken word, sound, and design. Together they represent the diversity and richness of Los Angeles’ ever-expanding art scene. Drawing on both current events as well as stories from the Jewish tradition, the piece plays with what it means to experience events and to know them as true, whether it is directly or through second or third-hand knowledge. In a time of fake news, quickly disseminated rumors and growing questioning of any mainstream narrative, Culture Lab: Truth asks, “How can you discern what the truth is?”

For this project, I did the graphic design, and took on most of the production design for this really fun, really amazing collaboration organized by the SIJCC.
